It's That Time Of The Year
With summer only a few days away, I admit I thought it was already here! The weather's been so warm that I've already jumped into wearing my summer gear.
I usually like to reach for easy breezy summer dresses so today I'm sharing two favorites. One I've had for years and the other I just picked up.
Dresses, like rompers, are convenient because they offer a quick resolution to "..what outfit should I wear" situations, not to mention less laundry overall.
My Wardrobe Strategy
My strategy is to recycle what I already have in my closet which means avoiding too many super trendy pieces. I'm modeling two sundresses in this post that were ironically both purchased from TJ Maxx years apart!
The cream sundress was purchased damaged with the wooden collar separated from the dress. It was marked down to just $7! Since I can sew it was an easy fix for me...score! I grabbed my sandals and my outfit was done.
The purple & melon sundress was a $20 find and I paired it with a tank and wedges I already had in my closet.
I plan to get plenty of wear out of these dresses this season and beyond. Taking a moment to recycle your existing pieces without breaking the bank on a few new ones is definitely the way to go!
What are some of your favorite summertime pieces? Have you scored any good finds lately?
